What’s up scrum peeps? There’s another week in the books and holy cow those first two games were good. It’s too bad they were airing simultaneously. We were flipping channels back and forth during the final few minutes to try to catch the end of both. In the end, the Pack outlasted the Texans and the Lions prevailed on the road against the Vikings. Injuries abound in San Francisco and that third game was more of a yawn. The Chiefs took the road win.
Congratulations to our SIX perfect pickers. And this may be a new record – everyone but two players got their power pick correct this week to keep the scores high. Condolences to those who put the bonus with the Vikings.
At the end of week 7, the travelers remain at the top. Mary took her good score and managed to separate from Gerri by one point.
Here are your games for week 8:
- Eagles @ Bengals
- Bills @ Seahawks
- Bears @ Commanders
Emily and I are traveling to the UK this week, so my ability (and desire) to track everyone down will be way down. Get your picks in on Friday. WARNING: If I don’t have them when I’m back at the hotel on Saturday, I may need to press on without you.
Finally, we close this week’s post with the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile. This is a family favorite and I had been tracking it around the country hoping to visit it for Emily’s birthday. It spent way too much time in the Midwest, but finally made it down to Texas. Emily was super excited to sneak in a rare visit.
